Day One, Post One

For some time I've been wanting to start this but anxiety and procrastination got the better of me. Today finally I said " What's the worst that can go wrong? " The answer came to me as "Nothing that can't be solved with a delete button" so here goes.

My first picture should of course be something totally original. I do not have a very good imagination when it comes to original ideas, I tend to be better at taking someone else's original idea and changing it to suit me. But every now and then I come up with something that surprise even me. And that's what happened here. This canvas is completely "recycled rubbish"....plastic meat trays, bottle tops, screws, the inside of a whiteout roller "thingy", an old handle and hinge, wall plugs and scraps of muslin. And then lots of lovely metallic paint and finishing waxes.

If you become a regular on here you will soon learn that I prefer and recommend the Finnabair products from Prima Marketing and it is some of her "sparks" range of paints that I used on this piece.
